About Dr. Ameeta Walia
Dr. Ameeta Walia, at Cardiovascular Wellness, has been voted the best cardiologist in Long Island since 2016 serving patients in the Lake Success and Hicksville areas in Nassau County, NY. Dr. Walia offers treatment for high blood pressure, heart attack, high cholesterol, heart failure, leg swelling, prevention of heart disease, and palpitations. Available tests in the office include EKG, Echocardiogram, Stress Test, and Heart Monitoring. We will accommodate pre-operative clearances the same day.
Dr. Walia is board-certified in Cardiovascular Diseases, Nuclear Cardiology, Adult Echocardiography, and Cardiovascular Computed Tomography. She is also a registered physician in vascular interpretation. Dr. Walia completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the Jacobi Medical Center – Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She completed fellowships in Critical Care Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, and Advanced Cardiac Imaging. Dr. Walia is a member of the American College of Cardiology, the American Society of Echocardiography, and the American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine. She maintains hospital affiliations with North Shore University Hospital at Manhasset, Long Island Jewish Medical Center, New Hyde Park, and St. Francis Hospital and Heart Center, Roslyn.
